La disparition is a collage of photographs reproducing the map of Paris underground. In each one of the 350 underground stations, the part representing the station itself has been photographed from the platform map. Owing to the “tactile reference”, these are effaced in a way that is different every time, depending on the more or less frequent consultation carried out by passengers. The whole map has been reconstructed from these images photographs.
